I would like some recommendations about places to stay in Pismo.
Looks like the Pismo Coast Village in a top spot but have to make reservations 6 months in advance. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Ed

Go south from Pismo Coast Village for about 1/2 mile and on the left you will see a large county park which should have openings year around.

The campground mentioned that is just south of PCV does usually have openings. Just as an FYI this campground has very narrow spaces and the railroad track lies just a few feet behind your RV. It's my understanding that you had better not leave any thing out at night. It's not your fellow campers, but their some undesirables in that area. You might want to consider Pacific Dunes Ranch which just a little further south. No shade, but no train. Also in the same area is Pismo Sands. A very nice park that you might be able to get in. Good luck.

Depends on what services you need i.e. full hook ups, dry camping etc etc? Go to the Good Sam RV Camps on the internet.
