- Us_out_WestExplorerWe like the water and especially the Pacific so when in Brookings we stay at the Beachfront RV Park.
Of course it can be 'wet' on the Oregon coast as you will see in our Trip Journal entry. - F-TROUPExplorerWe liked Harris beach State park, walked from the site to the beach.
- RedwoodcamperExplorerHarris beach is cool if you like state parks. It's hard to get a spot. If you go up the north bank of the chetco river to nook bar you can pull whatever rv/trailer you have right on the river bar. $10 a night. No hookups. There is a porta potty. It's a ways up there but it's warm, away from the coastal fog, and the river is nice to swim in.
- ksg5000ExplorerOregon State Parks are great and Harris Beach is one of the better ones - very popular.
- bikendanExplorerHarris Beach for us.
But we go off season.
The water view sites have full hookups and cable tv. - dicknellenExplorer IILooking at your profile picture, I would recommend the state park, we like to stay at Beachfront RV Park, but the restrooms are not the very good and not open to all the day use visitors also. We only use our motor home facilities. Dick
