Best RV campgrounds in Brookings Harbor?

Hey everyone what are you guys consider the best RV campgrounds in Brookings Harbor Oregon.... or that area in general?
  • We like the water and especially the Pacific so when in Brookings we stay at the Beachfront RV Park.

Of course it can be 'wet' on the Oregon coast as you will see in our Trip Journal entry.
  • We liked Harris beach State park, walked from the site to the beach.
  • Harris beach is cool if you like state parks. It's hard to get a spot. If you go up the north bank of the chetco river to nook bar you can pull whatever rv/trailer you have right on the river bar. $10 a night. No hookups. There is a porta potty. It's a ways up there but it's warm, away from the coastal fog, and the river is nice to swim in.
  • Oregon State Parks are great and Harris Beach is one of the better ones - very popular.
  • Harris Beach for us.
    But we go off season.
The water view sites have full hookups and cable tv.
  • Looking at your profile picture, I would recommend the state park, we like to stay at Beachfront RV Park, but the restrooms are not the very good and not open to all the day use visitors also. We only use our motor home facilities. Dick
