Dallas is in Texas ;)
We also have a Dallas in Oregon, it is south of Salem.
Dallas, Oregon is slightly south of Salem, but mostly west of it.
FWIW I understood which city in Oregon the OP was referencing. - DurbExplorerI see you have a Casita. Beacon Rock State Park on the Washington side will accommodate you and is pretty nice. It is up the hill and away from the noise and most of the wind.
I wonder if some realize there is a Dallas in Oregon. - garyhauptExplorerThe Washington side of the Columbia is so much nicer than the Interstate.

On the Washington side of the river (hwy 97) is dry camping along the river too. Turn toward the Maryhill State Park, and continue past all the orchards to the dam. I've never been there, but have spoken to folks that like the area.
Good luck, don't forget the winery, museum, stone henge, and the Goldendale observatory. Oh, and the fast food at Biggs!! - Roy_LynneExplorer

We found the campgrounds in the Gorge to be a little noisy because of the trains. But we liked this RV park:

Hope this helps!
That will absolutely work. I don't mind trains either, but I could sleep through a hurricane and my husband just turns off his hearing aids. - Roy_LynneExplorer

Lord, I would never talk to anyone like that, and please in the future do not comment on my post.. I would never hurt your feelings. I rather expected that from 2oldman as he is always rude, but .....Never mind, I;ll just block you both and my life will be better. - dave54NomadThere is a KOA at Cascade Locks.
