Big Sur Bridge Reopening

The Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge on CA Hwy. 1, destroyed during winter rains, has been rebuilt and will reopen Oct. 13. Good news...but the slide north of Ragged Point still blocks north/south through travel. The reopening makes USFS CGs Kirk Creek and Plasket Canyon easily accessible via CA Hwy 1 from Monterey.
