Blue Ridge Ga

Heading to Blue Ridge over the 4th of July for a family reunion. We are staying in a cabin but wanted to check out a few CGs while I’m there. I’ve gone to RvParkReviews and got some ideas, just wanted to see if anyone had recommendations for the area. Been there before but never had the time to check out CGs, thanks.
  • My favorite in that area is Plum Nelly in East Elijay. To me, it is a throw-back to the 50's campground. Definitely not a resort. Owner and wife very friendly, mgr very nice. South of WalMart about 2 miles... on west side of road. On the east side of the road, two apple houses (peaches in summer.) About 25-30 miles south of Blue Ridge.

I have also stayed at Choestoe Falls In Blairsville, owner owned and it is very nice. Rent from the owner of the lot.

A couple of state parks in the area also.

    Beautiful area.
  • We stayed at MORGANTON POINT. A typically nice COE park. And boy that lake is blue. Thought we were on the Gulf Coast. Coe parks are always nice and hard to beat, especially with the Geezer pass!
