Blue Ridge Parkway campsites Fancy Gap to Front Royal

Planning to travel to New York state in May and was thinking of doing some of the BRP/Skyline in early May. Are the camp grounds open at that time. Also not sure how much we would see due to the weath...

My wife and I done the BRP from Front Royal to Cherokee back before some of the CG's closed, we took our time and spent 18 days doing it, stayed in every CG the park service is in charge of, In our 30 yrs of traveling it is our favorite trip to date, just so relaxing when you take your time and see everything along the way.

we are doing the southern 1/4 again this spring.

I love the entire Shanendoah/BRP/SMNP very much.
