Bone Lick State Park

If anyone has camped at this park could you please give me some advice on which sites are ok. I know the reservation site gives length but we will be here for 4 nights and one will be spent at the campsite. This park is in Ky. about 35 miles south of Ohio border. Thanks
  • We stayed there a couple of times a few years ago. It's not bad. Has a small pool and a museum.
  • Fun fact: Big Bone Lick State Park is just up the road from the unincorporated community of Beaver Lick.

You can't make this stuff up...
  • I stayed there once...... just because of the name.

The pool was ok, the bison were neat and the museum isn't too bad.
  • I was there years ago, and I do recall that many of the sites are not even close to level. Bring lots of wood blocks.
  • Thanks, I will try for those sights and look forward to our trip in sept.
  • We have stayed there a couple of years ago. The had several bison at the park and a very nice museum of pelintology. There is a very nice place to eat just west of the park. You should also know that there is a steep entrance to the campground.
  • We've stayed there a few times. It's a nice park, well kept. The hosts do a good job of keeping the park in good shape.

We stayed at sites 34 and 35, both had tons of room.
