If not off my rocker. Hoping to go to a conference in yonkers in November and it sure would be easier to take the class c. Any idea of where to overnight and whether I would get towed in daytime park...

Try calling the Empire City Casino. They might have some kind of RV parking.
There's also a Walmart in White Plains - no sure about any city ordinances, but you can try calling the store.
