We spent a week at Cape Ann Camp Site. It's an older park with tight roads but they do have a big rig section as you enter. It's a few minutes from Gloucester & from there we took the train to Boston. We consider it central to Boston, Gloucester, Rockport, & Essex.

Normandy Farms is consistently rated as one of the best resort CG's in the country. As a result, their pricing is up there and getting a site can be tough. If you just want a CG as a place to sleep while you tour the Boston area, the other choices suggested are probably better for you.

If you have kids and plan to spend time using the CG amenities, NF cannot be beat.

Boston Minuteman is my choice. The woods keeps it cooler during July and August and the connection to the T is just a couple miles away. The staff are so courteous and helpful and the sites are clean. Pleasant experience that we return to almost every year.

There are 2 parks that most people use because of their proximity to public transportation. Normandy Farms in Foxboro and Boston Minuteman in Littleton. Normandy if you have kids, Boston Minuteman for the more woodsy feel.

Both are convenient to the commuter rail into Boston.

Great choices

This has been covered before. Try searching for `Boston' in the RV parks section then search the results for `tour'.
We stayed at Normandy Farms the they directed us to another location to pick up the bus.
