- ivbinconnedExplorer IIThanks. That's the concept I am wanting to explore. If we are down for a month but would like an easy skip to another hot destination while there.
- almccExplorerNot sure about flights to Cabo but we left our trailer in Borrego Springs, drove to San Diego (an easy drive), booked a hotel on the beach and left our vehicle in their lot and hopped over to Hawaii for a week. We stayed a night at the SD hotel on the way back and then returned to Borrego.
San Diego airport is a pleasure compared to others we've gone through, like a small town airport. - TrackrigExplorer IICan you do it in five days - yes. Will it be an enjoyable worthwhile trip - no.
Do you mean Borrego Springs?
There are flights from San Diego to Cabo, but from LA you'd have a larger selection.
By the time you drive to Borrego from Saskatoon, set up the fifth, or put it in storage, get to the airport, check in, Fly to Cabo and then fly back to (?) clear customs, etc. It's a lot more hassle than it's worth. I go to Cabo all of the time, but never for less than ten days, this Nov will be for three weeks.
