campground close to cruise terminal

can anyone sugest a c.g. close to the port everglades cruise terminal in fort lauderdale, for a month that would be good .
  • When do you plan on doing this? Markham Park is nice but it's expensive for non residents of Broward County.
  • Hey thanks for the replies. We were thinking of booking a month and taking a week cruise while there.
  • I've stayed at Kozy Kampers and it's ok for an urban park. I would prefer one of the Broward County Park Campgrounds, like Markham Park or CB Smith in Pembroke Pines. Markham is a little west of Ft Lauderdale, but it's a straight shot on the interstate to the port. It's actually easier and quicker to get to the port from Markham than it is from Kozy Kampers. There's also a campground called Yacht Haven, that is near the airport. If you're looking for parking near or at Port Everglades, may I suggest Air and Sea Parking. We've used them several times and never had a problem. hey are much more convenient than parking at the port.
  • http://www.rvparkreviews.com will show what c.g. are around port everglades. Several to choose from. If you're looking for storage there that may be an expensive option. Good luck...
