We've camped at Lake Barkley SP, Piney, Paris Landing SP, and Energy Lake. Energy Lake was our favorite. - Johno02ExplorerEnergy Lake is a bit more difficult, but is really good for lake fishing, canoeing, in a much less crowded area. Like I said a bit secluded, bur we really like it.

Nice place to stay. Kayaking on those lakes can be a little risky. Big water for an inland lake and there’s often enough chop to hide a kayak from a boat running 70mph. Be sure to wear bright colors.
Look at Energy Lake for kayaking. Too small for speedboats. - JoeHExplorer IIIWe stayed at Hillman Ferry. Had a very large pull thru site that easily accommodated the MH and toad. It was wooded and not on top of the neighboring sites.
- obgrahamExplorerPiney has quite large sites. Not right on your neighbor.

- Johno02ExplorerFor fishing, Piney campground might be better. A little quieter, more water access, but make reservations early for sites closer to water.
- Dick_BExplorerIf you ever do dinner out try Willow Pond in Eddyville for all you can eat fish. Hush puppies are wonderful.
For really good pork chops try Patti's 1880's Settlement restaurant.
