Camping on the Suwannee
We want to take our Pontoon to the Suwannee River. Where can you camp on the river and be able to leave your boat in the water during your stay. Full hookups would be great, but not nessecary.

- Manatee Springs SP has a dock at the end of the boardwalk, there were a couple pontoon boats tied up there, one was the tour boat but not the other. Give em a call and ask. Looked like enough room for 4-6 boats.

- Hi--we have stayed at Suwanee River Hideaway many times. They have a dock on the river and several places where you could beach to boat and tie up to a tree. There is a 1500' boardwalk from the campground to the river. Don't know what the procedure would be but you could call and inquire.

The boat traffic on the river can be rough on the boat. DH prefers to take boat out of water for that reason. Nice place though.- Do you want up the river or lower toward the gulf?
- Have you tried Stephen foster state park? Don't remember if they allow the boat to stay in the water.
