Campsite in east columbus or pickerington, ohio

We would appreciate advice on a campground either in Columbus, Ohio or near Pickerington, Ohio. We see there is a koa at buckeye lake, but it is kind of far out. We'd prefer something a little closer in. If anyone knows of a nice one, please tell us.
  • Unless they have moved things around since we lived there, Buckeye lake should be closer than Granville or Alum Creek. The Ohio State Parks are very nice I would think you might like Alum Creek State Park, as I remember it has some full service sites, at least elect and water and it is probably a little clsoser thhan Grandville. Although Grandville is a great town.
  • Lazy River in Granville might be closer to Pickerington. That is also a nice quiet park.
  • Cross Creek Camping Resort is just north of Columbus near Alum State Park at 3190 S Old State Rd, Delaware, OH 43015. We like it when we have to be in Columbus. Nice park.
