Campsite in east columbus or pickerington, ohio

We would appreciate advice on a campground either in Columbus, Ohio or near Pickerington, Ohio. We see there is a koa at buckeye lake, but it is kind of far out. We'd prefer something a little closer in. If anyone knows of a nice one, please tell us.

    Unless they have moved things around since we lived there, Buckeye lake should be closer than Granville or Alum Creek. The Ohio State Parks are very nice I would think you might like Alum Creek State Park, as I remember it has some full service sites, at least elect and water and it is probably a little clsoser thhan Grandville. Although Grandville is a great town.

    Lazy River in Granville might be closer to Pickerington. That is also a nice quiet park.

    Cross Creek Camping Resort is just north of Columbus near Alum State Park at 3190 S Old State Rd, Delaware, OH 43015. We like it when we have to be in Columbus. Nice park.
