- Queens_CarriageExplorerThanks
- tobanExplorerThe boat number that you are given if it's a new boat by Transport Canada is a one time number and stays with the boat. If the boat is sold, you are to let them know of the change and the new owner is licenced against that number. Anyway, the boat is LICENCED with a number attached to the front side of the boat in not less than 2 inch letters/numbers. The boat is not registered as there is a difference. A name is registered to a boat not a number.
Toban - FizzExplorerWhy not go to the source...
Boat Licencing - Sea_DogExplorerOver ten horsepower,
the craft must be registered and numbers
put on the boat.
Unless something has changed,
this is a one time occurrence for boat and trailer. - Queens_CarriageExplorerSo when you registered your boats gig you have to put numbers and a registration sticker on the boat?
- robatthelakeExplorerI registered My Two Boats when I bought them back in 1990 .. Nothing since!
- Queens_CarriageExplorerDo you have numbers and a sticker like in the US?
- FizzExplorerNew ruling puts it at 10 yr registration.
