Casino Route to Quartzsite

Heading down I-5 for our first try at Quartzsite at the end of October with the first stop planned at Canyonville exit 99 in Southern Oregon to play at their casino. Does anyone else stay at the casinos on their way South? Have you any suggestions for casino stops once you get into California?
My plan is to put all of our gas money on red at each casino.(not really)
Thanks

2gypsys,thanks, but according to Me Again I won't need the good luck. Seems all you have to have is enough room to store all of your winnings. I'll put mine in my gas tank.
Thanks to all who answered. I have bookmarked the CasinosCampers website.

I thought only Indians now have Casinos, that they put those real ones out of business. It is very surprising that any of them are still in business when all those winners drive away with their winnings.

I think there is a small town on the common route from the north to Quartzsite. If I remember correctly it is called Las Vegas, or something like that. Rumor has it you might be able to find a casino there.

Wow! If you're hitting all casinos on the way to Quartzsite, you'll need the free parking! ๐Ÿ™‚ Seriously, are you planning to stay a long length of time at Quartzsite thereby using the LTVA sites? If so, October/November is fine for getting there. However, if you're purpose of Quartzsite is being in the midst of all the activities, January is the time to be there. Have a good trip down...and good luck!

To answer your first question, yes, Seven Feathers at exit 99 has both a full hook up RV park (very nice from what I've been told) and also has a free dry lot on the North side of the Casino. We stayed in the dry lot just last May. Free shuttle will pick you up if you call the shuttle phone number.

They also usually have good gas prices and also have a pretty nice restaurant next to the gas station.

Full hook up RV park/gas station/restaurant are on the West side of the freeway. Casino and dry lot are on the East side of the freeway.

The CasinoCamper link that several people have already posted can be quite helpful to find free places to spend the night and wager a couple of bucks.

Thanks for the links all. BO, can't knock it until you've tried it. I see it as the old ladies blowing the retirement that they helped make possible.

I might stay at a Casino campground but never go inside the Casino. The sight of a bunch of old ladies blowing all of their late husbands retirement while sitting mesmerized at a slot machine doesn't sit well with me..

Cabazon, CA. just West of Palm Springs on I10. From there you will be in Quartzsite the next day. Get an early start so you can pull the grade East of Indio, CA. early the next morning. Parking is in the rear lot behind the multi story building. It is surprisingly quiet!

Although I'm not familiar with the casinos in that neck of the woods, DW just loves them where we travel and we often make them our overnight stops whether they have an RV park or just dry camping in their parking lot.

After COE parks casinos are our favorite places to stay. There are so many good ones out there it's hard to go wrong.
