castaways was bought by sun prop inc.not good for campgrounds being bought by big business. I stop going there because of price well over 100$ a night I could afford it but not worth that price

We made reservations a few weeks ago for this coming June. Hope that this is not our last trip there as we always have a great time. I just have a big dislike for big company owned campgrounds

I got the email from them a couple days ago, got a feeling prices will go up. We like Castaways a lot as its only 45 min from the house.

That is a shame to hear. Been going there late sep the past couple years for a bluegrass festival. Oh well, Assateague is just down the road.

Hopefully they'll improve it but I daresay it's prices will climb to pay for it.
