Des Moines RV Park/Campground Open at Christmas?

Like to find a place to park my TT weekend after Christmas. As long as I have Electric is the main thing. Realize its the wrong direction to be traveling. Taking TT is cheaper than renting 2 motel rooms for 3 night.

Any ideas of names would be very useful. Most of the places I've found close Nov. 1 if not Dec.1.

    I guess should have explained a little more, we have been doing this, but the in-laws have moved and no longer have a place to park at their house like we have in the past, so looking for a place to park for a long weekend. We have also traded TT.

    I'm not sure about pulling a camper to Iowa in December or how far you want to drive to Desmoines.

    Rock Creek near Kellogg Iowa is open year round. I doubt the roads are plowed. No water or dump station will be open but they do have outhouse there.

    Really will be a gamble for conditions in December. I would not advise it.
