Do any hotels/chains offer RV spots with electric or hookups

Just curious if anyone is aware of any hotels/chains that also cater to overnight RVers and provide electric hookups between the northeast and the sunbelt? For instance Iโ€™ve heard of some near ski resorts in the northeast, but nothing on a broad scale and was curious if there were any that you all might know of to share! Tia!

Although not prevalent now, could be different in the near future. When electric cars become the principal means of transportation, I can envision hotels, and motels installing electric charging stations in their parking lots and perhaps these stations will be able to charge electric Rvโ€™s which will be coming soon.

EV charging stations at Hotels are already common. We wonโ€™t stay at a hotel if it doesnโ€™t have overnight charging facilities. No problem finding them using the App.

I donโ€™t if I would say they are common but there are a bunch in BC. I have also seen some pretty nice full service parks attached to casinos. Jackpot Nevada comes to mind.

Elks Lodge campgrounds are for Elks members only everywhere I've heard of. Yes there are a lot of them scattered around the country, such that Passport America isn't cost effective for members, if you travel in places where there are many lodges.

Thank you! I was aware of the casinos. ๐Ÿ™‚

We camped at one with a campground overnight once - we arenโ€™t big on gambling, but it was a nice enough site for a night!

Thank you for replying and adding this info! Itโ€™s helpful to be aware of additional options!

My late husband always preferred a RV site with a motel.. said in case of bad weather we had a place to go to. I did find 3 in all our travels. One in Canton, TX, one in NY and one in Kingsland, GA KiKi RV Park. All 3 had full hookups. Maybe Google Motels w/RV Parks... might get some in your area.

The above posted list is very good. Thanks.

Shelby RV Park is a small park located behind the Comfort Inn in Shelby, MT. You register at the Comfort Inn desk and can use all of the motels facilities. It has full hookups and has absolutely the nicest and cleanest bathhouse I've ever seen at any RV park.

Thanks, for the info! (but with my luck weโ€™d get cited or worse if we ever ttried to use them. But I have always wondered about if those were live when Iโ€™ve seen those on occasion! )

bases of the lot lights often have outlets. Just be darn sure to check the voltage before plugging in.

Thank you! (Electric is really all we need so we can use electric blanket or portable electric heater.)
