dog friendly RV parks in Las Vegas

We are traveling through Las Vegas in October and thought we would spend a few days there as we have never been. We have a 50Lbs female Golden Retriever that is very active. I have been combing through RV park web sites in Vegas and most have a 30Lbs limit. Even the ones that say they are pet friendly are not really, according to reviews left. Does anyone have an opinion or experience to share on a good place in Vegas for dogs?
  • I spent a lot of time in Vegas with my 100lb Golden.

Vegas is among the least dog friendly cities I have stayed in. I wound up staying in some pretty "rustic" places or dry camped in the truck parking at Sunset Station in Henderson.

We have been to the Oasis several times with our 75# flat coat retriever.
The Oasis has several fenced dog areas, with a larger fenced area by the entrance gate where a larger dog can run a bit. Never had an issue.
While the Oasis isn't right on the strip, we have found its location to be convenient.
  • Just left LV today. Sam's Town KOA looked nice. Road Runner has a 30# max.
I was at Thousand Trails and no weight limit there, for sure.
  • We camped with two dogs at Sams Town KOA rv. Our large dog is a 50 lb golden doodle, no problems
  • Have experience with Circus Circus and Oasis over the years. Circus is a bare bones paved parking lot not paw friendly when hot. Dog runs are gravel and fenced. Circus is the only one with walking access to the Strip. Oasis has nicer accommodations with part set aside for no pets. If in Vegas for Vegas you need a ride to the Strip and other casinos from the Oasis. The price for each is such that you get what you pay for. Good luck.
