Rolling HIlls Casino has nice sites with full hook ups but there are no trees to provide any shade---so very hot right now. The hotel has an outdoor pool. The casino has good food (3 resturants) and plenty of slot machines. The RV park is about a 200 yard walk to the Casino. There is also a Cheveron station on the site with diesel.
I think you would like the Durango RV Park in Red Bluff.

We stayed at the JGW rv park and were very pleased with the grounds and the pool. Now about the 110 degree heat? No so much, but it was a stop between Stockton and Grants Pass with the Grands. So what if we had to nibble on some dinner at 10:30 at night cus the trailer was do dang hot?

We've stayed in http://www.jgwrvpark.com/htm_files/facilities.htm twice while in that area. Nice spots and pool.

Go to Red Bluff. turn right at the Red Bluff exit off I-5. There is a overhead bridge at the RB exit. It is a very nice RV park called Durrango (530-527-5300) with pool. The park is right on the edge of the Sacramento River. Restaurants and down town is 1 blk. away.

Mountain view RV park just north of Redding has a pool and shade trees.

Reding would be good, but really really HOT! There is a casino in I think Corning about 50 miles farther south. I believe they have a RV park.
