What is your favorite campground in the Smokey Mountain area, maybe near Gatlinburg, TN? Our only requirement is that it has WIFI and / or an excellent Cellular signal.I have to work from "home" for a day or two on our next trip, and am hoping to be in this area.We will have our 3 kids with us, 7 & under, who will need plenty of activities during the day.Thanks,Brian

I stayed in Townsend this April at Big Meadows and had wifi.

We last stayed in Wears Valley in the Wonderland Campground. I think we had good signal strength and WiFi but I can't remember.

River Plantation in Sevierville. Traffic, touristy area but very nice campground.

WE stayed at River Plantation also last year. Had good wifi and att phone service. Park has swimming pool, hot tub and playground. It is a very nice campground with plenty of space between sites.

We always stay at RiverEdge Resort in Pigeon Forge. Camp ground on the right coming in from Gatlinburg. Has WIFI and trolley stop. Great location for both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

With kids... Jellystone for sure. Have never had a problem with WiFi other than the usual campground slowness when everyone is on in the evening. Verizon hasn't been an issue there either.

If in doubt, ask the owners. The Landry family is great
