I've read several articles and cant find any out for folks boondocking.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bidens-executive-order-mask-wearing-federal-land

Again city folks think everyone lives in an urban cubicle.
One size fits all I guess.
Hopefully the rangers out there have better sense than the DC insiders.

The challenge is separating the news from the commentary. All of the mainstream media outlets, including Fox and CNN, have good unbiased reporting on their NEWS programs...however most of the airtime is filled with "commentary" which does tend to be slanted one way or the other.

Too many folks think on-air celebs like Chris Cuomo or Sean Hannity are delivering the news...they are NOT...they are commenting on the news.

Folks, please stop panicking over things found on Faux News. Everything there has been carefully spun to throw you into a rage. Go to the source to get information that is actually useful. Your blood pressure will thank you for turning Faux News off.

We have been RVing out of state last 8 months since our governor has pretty much closed everything down in our neck of the woods. We wear our masks according to CDC guidelines and sometimes get funny looks from people in AZ, TX, UT, and CO.

Of course you can still get covid even when wearing a mask everywhere you go, hand sanitizing is paramount as it pertains to covid or any virus for that matter. Like anything we humans do, some are bound to overdue it while others are too nonchalant.

As for the fake news all the various news driven channels parlay, it is easy to wade through it with just a bit of common sense. Unfortunately, I haven't spent much time watching the news as of late, no interest in naysayers or gloom and doom opinions.

Remember back in school and your teacher told you to use "Primary Sources" when you write your research paper? Thanks to the internet, those primary sources are easier than ever to find. But it takes some care, make sure that you're really reading from the source and not a lookalike or scam site.

So for example, when you hear about some mask mandate in an Executive Order and how it's going to change your life, you can read the actual Executive Order yourself (which is the link I provided earlier). Or when you hear that the CDC is publishing numbers that are impossible, go to the CDC website yourself and read the background behind their numbers. Even medical journals post abstracts (or entire papers) to the internet, so if you hear about a promising new treatment that no one else knows about, you can find the studies that support it (or not).

From one of many studies on media bias....

In particular, this study examines coverage of presidential approval polls on Fox News' flagship news program, Special Report, as well as on ABC, CBS, and NBC's evening newscasts over the last decade. The results provide substantial evidence for bias in the news choices across the four news outlets, although somewhat surprisingly, the results are stronger for some of the networks than for Fox.

Just wear a **** mask when you encounter others or enter a public building. Quit thinking only about yourselves. This is why this problem has become as large as it is. I promise it won't kill you to help by wearing a mask for a few minutes every now and then. I promise you won't be less of a man (or woman).

I am with you wonderingaimless. I have boondocked on Public lands many times in the west especially remote desert BLM lands and never seen a ranger. Only time I have seen a ranger in western national forest is the Tahoe NF in 2000 and she was operating a speed trap on the highway going to Frenchman's Meadow Lake. Usually local sheriffs deputies patrol the Tahoe and Plumas NF. I always have several mask with me in case a johnny do good citizen wants to make a self important issue out of it in the wide open spaces. The people imposing mask requirements violate these restrictions themselves wholesale according to MSNBC, CNN etc. I saw it on the news. Burp.
