- Been on those ferries many, many times. DD & her hubby live on San Juan Island, so every late summer, early fall DW & I head over there on one of the ferries for a visit. Just love the northwest part of the country.

every post is simply an advertisement for their blog. - Sorry you feel that way Beemerphile. For me it's about sharing some of the wonderful places we find. What good is it if you keep it to yourself. And if you notice, there are no ads nor "tip jars" for readers on my blog.

If you were to post and participate on this forum the feeling would change. As of this morning every post you have made is to advertise your blog.
I don't know if you have advertisements on your blog or not since I didn't look. Even if I did open your page I wouldn't see any ads because of the software I use to block all ads.
This is a great forum, rather than use it to advertise, participate.
