First Real Outing of the Year

Looking forward to a couple, maybe three weeks boondocking in late October/early November. It’s been a “pretty ugly” year as pertaining to camping/rv’ing, as we’ve done near “NOTHING”! :M It will be nice to get away from people and the daily grind! memtb

Roy&Lynne, WOW! Sorry to hear or all of your bad luck! Hopefully y’all are doing OK! Our lack of camping was mostly “self imposed”! memtb

Maybe we will see you on the road.

Good to hear that you’re back to the rv’ing. And, you never know.....our paths may cross! It’s always nice to meet good folks! Though, we don’t have any serious road trips planned until” next April. memtb

  • Boy I am feeling your pain. We had planned to leave last November but a broken hip postponed that goal. Then we circled June and a car accident with injury crushed that plan. So now we have end of October circled and have our fingers crossed. At least we have had over a year to plan for the trip, so we have a mild winter plan and a harsh winter plan. I was hoping for mild but at this point, I don't care, just being on the road will be wonderful
  • Same with us. We may not be able to get away till late October, but it looks like we may have Indian Summer here around that time. The Sawtooth's is a nice target area.
  • We’ll be less than 60 miles from home.....spending time with the bears and elk! A two for the price of one.....getting away and filling the freezer! ;) memtb
