I thought toilet paper jokes would be popular by now. I have not seen any......yet.

And that generation will be called the Coronials.;)

I can't believe they close state parks. How much congregating goes on there? I know the answer, not much. Simply ridiculous.
After a few weeks we're going to have to compromise on this between the economy and a disease. These measures are prudent for a few weeks, maybe, but the economy will collapse after months of it, and people will go nuts.

It will happen automatically.
Younger folks will refuse to give up their social , party lifestyles. And after they have dealt with a brief 3 or 4 day minor illness, they will press for the social scenes to reopen. And as demand increases, supply will step forward, seniors be damned.
It's not their problem, they wont care.

Allen ... unfortunately I'm afraid you're spot-on with what you say above. As a rule more often than not, self-centeredness usually wins out whenever humans are involved.

I wish it weren't so.

And the rational behind closing the parks is??? They might as well close down all the hotels.

Can't post the picks but:

A picture of Indiana Jones (first movie) but rather than trying to take the golden skull, he's trying to a roll of TP.

Internet store checkout - How did you want to pay?
Buttons for Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Toilet Paper

Someone said that after they stocked up on TP, their cat went out and bought 26 boxes of kitty litter.

Brinks truck outside Walmart, delivering TP.

Best was some guy in Kroger today near Houston. "This is almost as bad as a hurricane."

Article on CNN today claiming toilet paper manufacturers are in uncharted territory with enormous spike in demand.

Consumers are walking right past hand sanitizer and consumables to satisfy their gluttony for toilet paper.

Next will be looting.

There are a couple of substitutes for TP: One's either a shower head on the end of a long hose, and the other is a bidet.

Our RV even has a 2nd shower head on the end of a short hose mounted on the wall right beside the toilet in the shower/toilet area. Good old Winnebago must have been thinking way, way ahead when they built our rig many years ago. :B

Ridiculous. Too much panic going on.
x2. Yeah, that's a bit much. I'm sitting in a CA state park where it's beautiful, very few people here, and quiet. Praying we don't suffer the same panic.

This part of CA is pretty much Mexico, so life is going on as per normal. Truck stop open and fully functional, even with a couple restaurants.

I had a dentist appt cancelled because the office has been ordered closed for 2 weeks. A dentist office is one of the most sanitary places there is.
