What's your opinion? disrespectful or no big deal.
So - you are telling us that if we go to Mexico we need to buy a Mexican flag and fly it there.
If we go to Canada, we need to buy and fly the Maple Leaf flag?

In the USA I fly 3 flags - USA in the middle with CDN and Union Jack on the sides.
What _I_ find disrespectful is the Fleur-de-Lis. That should NEVER be flown outside Quebec.
??? why should the Fleur-de-Lis not be flown outside of Quebec?
Quebec is a province just like the other 9 provinces. So you're a mind reader and are able to determine someone's reason for flying their provincial flag? It's this kind of attitude that causes discord in our country.
I too am a proud Canadian and I see no reason to fly my home province's flag, I instead fly the good ole' maple leaf as a MEMBER of my COUNTRY not as a member of a SEPERATE PROVINCE, oh and by the way there are ten provinces in Canada-
Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia,New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia,Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador
All in all I think this whole flag topic can be filed in the people with too much to worry about folder!!

I find the confederate flag disrespectful, but people fly it alone all the time.

Your vets fought for your right to display your flag just like ours did to display ours.
I see you live in Ottawa, so I guess it is no surprise that you have such a crappy attitude. Respect for anyone or any country is not something that anyone in Ottawa is blessed with.
