As school teachers we only had the summers to travel, so our first 3 trips to Disney were taken in very hot weather. As suggested, since you are staying on park property, take advantage of early hours and the late evening hours. We would head back to the campground during the heat of the day. The girls would cool off at River Country (I'm dating myself) and we would just relax at the motorhome. We would then head out for a nice dinner and spend the cooler evening hours in the park. It can get very hot in the park in the summer, but you will often get a cooling thunderstorm going through. We also found that the crowd lessen in the evening as those with very little children headed out early to get them into bed and we would stay until the park closed.
If that was the only time I could go, I would go and work around the heat of the day.
