Galveston to Corpus Christi - Where to stay

We are headed to Dallas for a couple weeks in March and plan to finish up and go to Galveston to spend a week. Then we want to make our way to Corpus Christi seeing as much of the Intercostal as we can over the next two weeks, and then heading back to the west coast.

Could use some recommendations for nice RV resorts in Galveston and along the Gulf which are on or near the water and can handle our 45. Exceptional resorts a bit inland would also be of interest, especially if decent places are scarce along the water.

Thanks Dennis. That is quite a journal you kept. Fascinating about the tornado. This really helped put some perspective on that gulf portion of our trip.
