Gator Grounds

Anyone here been to Gator Grounds RV Resort in Bunkie, La.? We are thinking about it for next summer. We need kid friendly and an overall nice area that doesn't look like a roadside park meant for nightly stays.

I live about 3 miles from it, but have never actually camped there. Really nice place for families with kids with a super nice water park with big water slides and a Lazy River. Also a Golf course on the grounds. Actual campsites are a little small and very close to each other. A place we like to go to is Cajun Palms RV Resort in Breaux Bridge/Henderson, exit 115 on I-10, just east of Lafayette, Louisiana. Absolutely amazing place with a super staff, but no Lazy River yet. Many Cajun restaurants nearby at this exit also. Website is www.cajunpalms.com. Another nice campground is Reunion Lake RV Park in Robert, La at exit 47 on I-12 going east from Baton Rouge to Mississippi. It has a really nice Lazy River and water activities for the kids, but no big water slides. It was bought out over a year ago and it's just not quite as good as before, but still a great place to camp.

Seems like an amusement park...outdoor water park, indoor water park, golf course, birthday parties, zip line, arcade, outdoor movies all open to the public. $65 per night in Summer.
