I go for it and yes I have some scratches and as the OP posted...plenty of sites bigger than the max listed. Pretty obvious the max size is determined by someone who has never driven a big rig and often never camped.

True, I've seen many CG's like that, in fact we were in a COE CG in Va. last week, the site across from us was a large pull through, listed as a max vehicle length of 40 ft. but it would easily hold 3 times that, while there was a curve in the interior road, it was not bad enough to be a size restrictor.
