Can't help you, but a suggestion. You might try asking this question on the Canada/Alaska forum. You will get a better response as there will be more who know where the Coke/Merrit area is. There should be more people on there who know that area of British Columbia.

You can camp almost anywhere you can get off the road. I'd start with any National Forest.
