Great Memorial Day Weekend at Daddy Joe's in Tabor City

If you live within 3-4 hours of this campground I suggest you try it out. We have been going several times the past 3 years and by far is the best place our family has stayed. My kids are now entering their teenage years and still enjoy it. NO I AM NOT THE OWNER OR EMPLOYEE just wanting to let you folks know about this hidden gem.

Google Daddy joes jellystone and check out their website.

Things we enjoy about the campground:
Folks that own and work are great.
Just paved the main roads within the campground and it is SWEET!
Paved cement pads with hook ups 30/50 amp on all.
Cabins, yurts and cottages. Yes I have used them when we had FFA officer retreats.
Great pools and small kids (3-12 age) activities.
Candy bar Bingo - Dad won about 30 candy bars a few weeks ago.
Plenty of room to ride bikes, skate boards and golf carts (but yet no over crowded with golf carts).
Nice grill and store.
Fishing, Fishing, Fishing. Many ponds to choose from catfish, trout etc. Catch and release only.

Well I guess that is it. If you have any questions I will try to answer but remember I am just a camper and do not have thing to hide.

2 things I hope they improve: Wireless Internet and add ESPN to their cable lineup. I know these are petty things but I had to mention since I am suggesting you camp with Daddy Joe.
  • Glad that you enjoyed your stay at Daddy Joe's. I grew up in the area and now stay there while visiting family.
