40' would be pushing it. There are probably some spots that are long enough for it, but not many. Its like Patapsco in that regard.

This park is off of I70/US40 between Frederick and Hagerstown.
A few words of wisdom to those who might visit.
The scenery is beautiful and we were getting hill deprived over here in the flat lands. We could have done without some of them haha.
Do not follow GPS directions to the park. As you approach especially from the south take I70 exit 35 to US40 south. The park entrance will be about 2 miles on your right on a slight uphill so you can slow down to make the turn. From exit I70 exit 42 US40 N is a serious roller coaster and your turn into the park will be on the left after a brake test of a down slope. I did not attempt that left turn.
Inside the park is not much better with the Cedar loop on the side of a cliff. It is the only loop with electric, and the 2 water spigots are not where their map shows. There are also more of them than the map shows. I carry 250 ft of hose luckily.
There are nice beaches and swimming areas and they were pretty full this past weekend.
Lots of history in the area with some awesome views.
All MD parks list max lengths as 30' so I called and was assured they could take up to 40'. The unsaid truth was that some of the sites could. Some would have been a problem at 25'.
So check your brakes before you go, don't try 12K lbs with a gasser, and have fun.
