- DinTulsaExplorerBooked a week in Gulf state park. Thank you for the quick replies!
- tnscoutrExplorerFor us, the ability to access the beach at the pavilion or at the pier for no extra fee makes Gulf State Park our choice.
- kenboatExplorerGulf State park resort fee is $7 per day.
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIJust some comparisons: Gulf State Park has large sites. Bay Breeze are right next to each other.
Both have the added lodging tax.
Gulf State Park: Peak time - $37-$49/day; $228-$299/week
Bay Breeze: $36-$48/day; $216-$258/week
The new resort fee?? Guess it just depends what kind of surroundings you enjoy. We enjoy nice scenic sites. - magnusfideExplorer IIBay Breeze. We don't care about all the extras at Gulf and found Bay Breeze more to our preferences in terms of beauty and quiet.
- rick_werthExplorerClosely look at rates. GS has instituted an expensive daily "Resort Fee" and raised rates and eliminated their poor WIFI system. Feel like they have priced themselves out of the market.
- johnhicksExplorerHere's my small review of Bay Breeze. We'll be back.
http://fugawetribe.com/?p=2765 - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIWe've always enjoyed our stays at Gulf State Park and yes, they have full hookups. The sites are large. There are activities and it's an easy bike ride to the beach or into town.

Bay Breeze is a small family owned campground. It is very neat and clean and sits right on the bay. Beautiful sunsets and has a fishing dock and a small beach. It has about 20 sites which all except one are back in. The full hook ups are good but there is no cable and satellite TV is hard to pick up due to the trees. The sites are not paved but are level. The entire park is under giant live oak trees. A very pretty setting. Check out the web site. If you reserve far enough in advance you can get the two sites right on the Bay. - shayerkExplorerAll sites at Gulf State Park are full hookups. I have never camped at Bay Breeze but we spent a week at Gulf State Park last year in March and loved it! Heading back again this year in March.
