But did you know that in the South they put green beans in a pot of water and cook them ALL DAY until they are mush? :E

Great park/park meal. Unique this time around since not everyone was a snowbird or FT'er. Made for a nice diverse knowledge base of RV'ing and local camping.

It was my first time for authentic southern sweet potato casserole which was waaaayyyyy too good. I would have gone for thirds, but someone else beat me to it. :S You gotta love pot luck. :)

My wife (God bless her) roasted a 6 pound chicken (think small 25 foot long trailer Oven), and did all the fixings including a pumpkin pie from scratch, and it was as good as any 25 pound turkey that we used to have at home with our eight kids and 16 grandchildren.
