IMHO, too many snowbirds get hung up on temperature and everyone wants to be south of the I-4 corridor. I always say from experience ( born and raised in Chicago area ) 60 degrees in north Florida is still better than 10 degrees wherever you're coming from. With that said, I head to the northern part of the state during the winter to get away from the craziness in SWFL during the winter months.
