- catkinsExplorer IIAnother vote for Lake Pleasant. Is really the only game near town. ZERO parks IN Seattle. There is a KOA in Kent, south of Seattle) in the Industrial area and a concrete parking lot as well as one or two in Issaquah (east of Seattle) that are almost on the freeway and are concrete.................. Lake Pleasant. Get a reservation! Seattle is beautiful but in no way RV friendly.
- Carl_n_SusanNomad IISeattle is *NOT* RV friendly! We too have kids on the north side of Seattle and Lake Pleasant is where we stay. The best option we have found after 10 years of looking. Hopefully you don't need to be in Green Lake before 9:00 AM as the Seattle I-5 traffic is horrendous during commute hours.
- ScottGNomadAnother vote for Lake Pleasant. We live a short distance from it and I often buy propane there.
It's a nicely maintained park and the people have always been very nice. There is a new Safeway across the street and many restaurants and other stores within walking distance. The area is quiet and it's easy to get in and out of the park. - C-BearsExplorerX2 for Lake Pleasant, especially if the family you are visiting lives on the north side of Seattle.
The sites are not that large, however they make good use of landscape to give most of the sites a little privacy. - bradykExplorerAs said Lake Pleasant. Stayed there on several trips and always is nice and pleasant. Make sure to reserve as it gets busy in prime time of the season.
- pasco1215ExplorerYes ~ Lake Pleasant in Bothell is very nice. Be sure to make reservations.
- rr2254545ExplorerOur son live in Seattle and we have been there often - on the north end we like Lake Pleasant RV Park Bothell Washington
It is very nice - and away from the highway
