As said already, Danforth Bay is beautiful in May and a great base for seeing the White Mountain area. Lots of space between neighbors. There is a great restaurant which is in an old train station in the close by town of Ossippe. The restaurant was called Mountain View Station.
Thanks, B&A. Danforth was what we had initially considered, but their minimum reservation period for the on-season is a week, and we'll be looking for something in the area of four nights. So no joy, there. Any other suggestions? Any and all thoughts are much appreciated.
