I have never seen a campground that has good tables. Usually an old beater in the game room.
If you are ever in the DC area and choose to stay at Cherry Hill CG, or the Fort Meade FamCamp, there is a pool hall in the area called BankShots. Not at the campgrounds, but within a few miles of the CGs. They have about 20 well maintained tables, APA leagues, and pickup 8 ball and 9 ball tourneys. A lot of good shooters come out of there. The woman's team were National champs in 2013, and they always send several teams to Vegas for the National tourney. One of my friends came in third place in the Masters division tourney, held in Vegas a couple of weeks ago.
I don't know very much about how to shoot, but I would like to learn. So perhaps if you are in town, I could be enticed to play a game. And I have been told that if there is a small wager placed on the outcome, the game can be so much more exciting. ;)
