Is it very windy in Aransas Pass,TX/Rockport,TX areas

Wondered if the wind was a problem in rv parks in Aransas Pass or Rockport. I know it is in a bit from Port Aransas and Mustang Island. Wondered if that was enough to break the wind. We are still p...

We've wintered in Port Aransas the past two winters. The winds vary from light to moderate and occasionally strong (>40 mph). Only once this winter did I take our rooftop satellite dish down for safety. Some days the winds are too strong for sitting outside; some days are pleasant. It's winter, so 100% nice weather can't be forecast for anywhere.
