Just wanting to know if anyone is using or has used Jabba for their internet while in Arizona. I know the service in Ft Mohave is not too good, how's your Jabba been. Or, what service have you been using successfully?

Thanks, KB

malibuguy: Do you have a Roger's cell phone? They have a very good deal on using your phone in the USA. Costs $5.00 a day for 10 days then free the rest of the month. You get 5 GB of data, messaging and more Good service in AZ. Usually runs off ATT towers. We use this all over the USA.

We have LinkNGo here, worked just long enough to sign up & pay, then nothing, Called several times to get help or a refund, still waiting to hear back 3 years later.

Jabba is a major ripoff. We pulled into an RV park and their WiFi worked the first day--long enough to sign up with them for month. The service quickly deteriorated. I could see four of their WiFi radios on my computer, but couldn't connect to any of them. It wasn't just slow -- I couldn't connect.

Called customer service. The tech eventually said he'd have to "send it to higher support". They finally called back after almost a week. We'd been there for almost two weeks with no internet. When the higher level tech found out we were only there for another two weeks, he said it wasn't worth fixing.

Called again and asked for a refund. The agent said he couldn't issue a refund, he could only cancel our service. He would have to send my request to billing and they would call me back in 24 to 48 hours. They never called.

The agent did tell me that the higher level tech had noted that we needed an outside antenna which would cost a $75 service fee. At least tech was honest when he said it wasnโ€™t worth fixing.

Donโ€™t trust Jabba. Itโ€™ll work until paid for then it quits.

we stay in Quartzsite and I have a land line thru the local phone company TDS. I have their internet also. Its fiberoptic thru the phone line, 52.00/month for unlimited. Better than here in Ontario, we have xplornet satellite here at home for internet, its good, but not unlimited! To get TDS phone company internet, you must have the local phone service. Dona
