Just cancelled reservation Florida state parks

We haven't ever camped there just rode though one time checking it out and really want to so hopefully one day we will

Spent Memorial Day weekend at Silver Springs S.P. and was surprised there was 2 to 3 empty site's in each loop all weekend.( Great park, first time there.)

Yea it is hard to get into we had those reservations since last year 11 months out we live about a 2 hours from grayton beach and Henderson and those are tough to get into as well that is why it is so disappointing to have had to cancell but things do happen. As of now looks like we will not get a chance to go until our next trip Labor Day weekend just depends on recovery but camper stay hooked up to power at the house and pretty much sit up all I got to do is push the button to open slide and put out awaning may have to camp in the yard some during recovery time.

We only live 10-15 minutes from Silver River SP and it's still tough to get into. Hopefully another time for you guys.

Thank you for the well wishes myself and the wife will have to look into getting to silver springs another time was really looking forward to the trip we always take a long trip that time of year as our anniversary falls during that time.

I just checked reserve America it didn't take long for somebody to grab the site at big Laggon and Grayton beach it has only been maybe 5 minutes since I cancelled and those two are gone glad someone was able to get them
