Kampvilla RV Park, Bear Lake Michigan (Manistee county)

Haven't stayed myself but several co-workers with kids have, and they all reported having a great time. It's a place to take kids, so factor that into your decision.

It's not really in the middle of nowhere, or rather that's all you get here in the North. Arcadia, Bear Lake and Onekama are all nearby destinations.

Every private campground is mostly trailer park around here, the season is too short to survive on transient fairs alone.
