Kentucky

We just returned home after an extended trip to Kentucky, Tenn and the Blue Ridge in NC. We stayed in Georgetown Ky at Whispering Hills cg as our home base. This cg is right on in all aspects of a good cg. Friendly staff, nice sites with plenty of room and quiet.
Just my two cents worth.
  • Whispering Hills is our campground of choice when in that area. The road in is very narrow in spots though. We have also stayed at Kentucky Horse Park and we like Whispering Hills better.
  • No I didn't but I will try and do so. We rode to the horse park and that area looked nice as well.

We also hit the Ark in Williamstown and Creation Museum just south of Cincinnati.
  • Sounds nice! That's a good area to camp, with lots to see & do. When we were there, we stayed at KY Horse Park. (Great if you love horses.) :)

Did you post a review on rvparkreviews, by chance? A lot of us use that site for CG recommendations.
