Lake Byre Recreational Area in Kennebec, SD

I will be driving through South Dakota shortly and need a place to spend the night. I usually use Walmart, but I thought I'd something a little quieter. Kennebec, SD looks like a midway point for my trip and found Lake Byre offers free camping. I know the KOA in Kennebec is closed due to Flooding. Does anyone know if camping is still available at Lake Byre?

I can't find much online about it other than people reviewing their visit. The town of Kennebec is pretty small, like 300 people and there is nothing on their web site about the camping spot.
