Lake Mead should show some increase in level.

The CA rains will do little for Lake Mead. At best, it will send a very small amount into the Lower Colorado River Basin most likely south of Laughlin.

I think these recent storms will provide more to CA reservoir supply than Lake Mead. Need more snow in the western Rockies.

Yes, the 5"+ that fell in SF just went to the ocean, as did lots of what fell in Sacramento (most storm drains go right to the river). Some did soak into the ground. But the good news is the Sierras got a good amount of snow.
