Lakewood Rv Resort, MB.

Just made reservations and I noticed that at the bottom of the email says that they are a Christian resort and no alcohol is allowed on site. Do they actually enforce that rule? Anyone know?
  • It's just a rule they can use if you do drink and act irresponsibly.
  • I have stayed there many times, and have had many adult beverages at my site and other sites with friends. No one has ever said anything to me about my beverages. Just watch as the trash truck comes by in the mornings, there are quite a few adult beverage containers waiting with the other trash.
Lakewood does offer Christian themed programs for children during the day, and for all ages some evenings.
While there you should see their own production of "High Steppin Country" great show of local talent.
  • You will be find if you don't cause trouble and you use your "Red Solo Cup".
  • Most all campgrounds with the "No Alcohol" policy will enforce if they see beer cans or wine glasses. No one will ever say anything if your beverage of choice is in a insulated travel type cup. Some people actually think I drink coffee all day.:B Randu
  • Thanks, Terry. No, we are not planning on getting drunk just a couple of beers here and there at night or a glass of wine. I will bring little brown bags! LOL

Do you plan on. Putting a big sign on site saying you are drinking? OR are you planning on getting drunk, and making a show of yourself? If so. Don't go.
If you do neither, and put you alcohol in a cup, and keep it out of sight. You'll be OK. But IF you begin a drunk party. Your out.

Honestly, a little common sense is all that is needed.
