I use nightcrawler bought at bass pro. The other bait of choice is power bait balls and you can catch fish from the dock or shore or from a boat. It is actually pretty easy to do.

Lilly’s is on the Taneycomo river below table rock lake/dam. Trout primarily. Cold, clear moving water. Beautiful. Lots of fly fishing and shops/guides around.

Lots of people use the salmon eggs and plastics. Use clear mono line of 4 lb. test or so. Lilly's Landing sells everything on site at their store you will need, including the out of state license. They also have guides running out of the resort. Have Fun!
