There is hundreds of them on Fork. We had a site there for 2 years at a small place but he is full. Lots of them with websites
The bass are huge and the crappie fishing is also pretty good if that's your thing

If you want big largemouth bass, you want to go to Lake Gaston in NC...maybe some Texas lakes. I've never camped there so cant help with that.
Watch any lake that TVA runs as it may have a significant winter drawdown if that matters to you.

Ditto on Lake Fork in Texas!

Lots and lots of such places on the Tennessee river and lakes in Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky. Our kids have a semi-permanent place in a nice quiet campground below Wheeler Dam near Florence, Al Would recommend it, but not sure if any sites are available. If you are looking for a long term site, you really need to visit and see if it meets your needs. Even though waterside is very nice, flooding can be a severe problem. Last year, the river rose up to 15 feet at many riverside sites. BTW, that is about 5 feet above the top of most RVs.

There are dozen upon dozens of these on Lake Fork here in East Texas. Lots of really big bass come from there.
